Training Services: Giclee Printing

We offer high end retouching and digital composition services to complement our giclee printing. Even if your end product is not a giclee but for example separations, we can provide world class Photoshop work. Our staff has worked on major national ad campaigns and created work for world renown photographers and national magazine covers.

Whether you need digital restoration, photo composition or extensive retouching, rest assured we can tackle any project. We have a portfolio of work that is unmatched in scope and exposure. For confidentiality reasons, we are not able to present examples on our site, but we will be happy to explain in detail over the phone.

After working in New York and Los Angeles for over a decade, the owner and lead digital artist will be able to assist with your imaging needs, be it photographic or pre-press as a final output.

The process is simple. You can either provide us with the digital files or materials to scan. We will ask a series of questions regarding output size, use, retouching and composition requirements. We are very exacting with color. A series of proofs will be provided for approval. While work is in progress, jpegs can be e-mailed to get a general feeling of the direction we are taking.

Our clients will receive the same type of work they would get in high end digital boutiques at a fraction of the average $300 an hour usually charged. We know because we are the same artists who used to work for such businesses.

We guarantee the work and will be happy to give a free consultation.

Digital Imaging Training: Giclee Printing, Retouching, Photo Compositing

We also offer on site and off site giclee printing, proofing and Photoshop training. We will be happy to quote for travel or training at our studio. Please contact us with any questions or to set up an interview.

You will learn from working professionals who deal with customers and have to prove their skills in the real world, not in the classroom. You will accomplish goals such as effective masking and color correction , layer composition, adjustment layers, profile use, setting up an efficient printing and scanning environment.

If you are a photographer and find it difficult to transition to a high end digital workflow, we can show shortcuts and techniques we learned over the years. Although imaging manufacturers and salespeople claim that their equipment is easy to use, the truth is that all the tools, from software to hardware, need to be used properly. Each one has to work with the others. It would take months or years to get to speed and the cost in down time will definitely be multiples of what we charge. In addition, we are always here after training to answer any questions you may have.
